BUILD THE BOARD

Theme Gets the Attention. These Four Details Finish the Build.

Use the artwork to choose the direction, then make sure the set works with the keyboard you actually own.

01 · PROFILE

Choose the Key Shape

MOA, Cherry, OEM, XDA and other profiles change height, row shape and how artwork sits across the board.

02 · LAYOUT

Check Included Key Sizes

Compact layouts and non-standard modifiers may need keys that are not included in every set.

03 · MATERIAL

Choose the Surface & Construction

PBT, doubleshot, resin, metal and other constructions create different visual and tactile directions.

04 · LIGHTING

Plan Around RGB

If lighting matters, check the product for shine-through, side-lit or translucent details before building around RGB.

THEME GUIDE / GOTHIC

Gothic Keycaps for Mechanical Keyboards With a Darker Point of View

Build a board with more atmosphere through KEYCAPPPP gothic keycaps in black, pink, berry and shadowed palettes. Lace-like details, dark illustrations and high contrast create a stronger identity than ordinary black keycaps.

MORE THAN BLACK

Use Accent Color to Make the Dark Theme Read Clearly

Black creates the base, but pink, berry, red or pale legends reveal the artwork and make the board feel deliberate. A limited accent palette usually looks stronger than many competing colors.

ROMANTIC OR GRAPHIC

Choose the Kind of Gothic Mood You Want

Lace and illustrated motifs create a softer dark-romantic look, while bold legends and sharper contrast feel more graphic. Pick the direction before matching the case and lighting.

PROFILE + LIGHTING

Use Shape and RGB to Support the Mood

Rounded profiles can make gothic artwork feel cuter; more traditional silhouettes feel cleaner and darker. If lighting matters, check the individual product for shine-through or translucent details.
